(Purpose)<\/h3>\n

Article 1
\nThese implementation rules set out necessary matters concerning the implementation of the Rules of the Center for ICT Services, Kyoto Institute of Technology (established on December 26, 2002), in accordance with the provision of Article 14 of such rules. <\/p>\n

(Scope of Use)<\/h3>\n

Article 2
\nThe accounts provided by the Center for ICT Services (\u201cCIS\u201d), Kyoto Institute of Technology (\u201cKIT\u201d), shall be available for one or more of the following purposes:
\n(1) For research or educational activities of KIT instructors;
\n(2) For academic or research activities of KIT students under the guidance of KIT instructors;
\n(3) For work activities of KIT staff members; and
\n(4) For other purposes permitted by the CIS Director.<\/p>\n

(User Registration)<\/h3>\n

Article 3
\nA person who wishes to acquire an account of the CIS must submit the prescribed user registration application form to the CIS Director and obtain the CIS Director\u2019s approval.<\/p>\n

(Fee)<\/h3>\n

Article 4
\n1 A person whose use of an account was permitted as set out in the previous article shall pay a fee to bear a part of the costs incurred for his\/her use of the account.
\n2 The amount of the fee shall be as shown in Appendix Table 1.<\/p>\n

(Payment of the Fee)<\/h3>\n

Article\u3000The fee shall be paid based on the fee amount report sent from the CIS, by the method shown in Appendix Table 2.<\/p>\n

(Miscellaneous)<\/h3>\n

Article 6\u3000In addition to matters set out in these Implementation Rules, all matters necessary for the operation of the CIS and KIT\u2019s information network shall be decided by the CIS Director with approval of the President.<\/p>\n

\nThese Implementation Rules shall become effective on January 20, 2003, and begin to be applied from January 1, 2003.<\/p>\n
