We are writing to inform you that since the early hours of May 12, 2026, an issue has been occurring with ESET,
\nour campus-wide antivirus software, where license activation is failing to complete successfully.<\/p>\n

\nESET license activation is currently failing, and errors are being displayed during attempts to update the engine and virus definition files.
\nAs a result, there is a possibility that the latest threat detection capabilities may not be applied to your system.<\/p>\n
[Request to Users]
\nUntil this issue is resolved, we recommend using alternative security measures,
\nsuch as Windows Defender or other antivirus tools, to ensure your device remains protected against potential threats.
\nPlease be extra careful of suspicious emails, files, and websites.<\/p>\n
[Current Status and Future Actions]
\nWe are currently conducting a thorough investigation in coordination with our software vendor.
\nAt this time, the cause has not yet been determined, and we do not have an estimated time for recovery.
\nWe will provide further updates on the CIS website as soon as new information becomes available.<\/p>\n
