How to connect

In order to connect Wired Connection with Browser-based Authentication(KITnet), you need to configure your browser to auto-detect the proxy server.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click on the Tools icon, and “Internet Options”.
  2. Select “Connections” and “LAN Settings”.
  3. Select “Automatically detect settings”, and click OK.

Google Chrome

  1. Click on the icon Customize and control…in the top-right corner of Google Chrome.
  2. Scroll the page down until you reach the Network paragraph.
  3. Press the button: Change proxy settings.
  4. Select Connections tab from the Internet Options window.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Go to the Firefox menu, and click on Options.
  2. Select Advanced, Network, and Settings.
  3. Select “Auto-detect proxy settings for this network”, and click OK.
