Notice Regarding Services Provided by the Center for ICT Services Due to a University-Wide Power Outage and a Power Outage in Building No. 2

A Campus-Wide power outage is scheduled for September 19, 2026. This will NOT affect any CIS services except for network connections (KITnet) at the Matsugasaki campus.

However, the campus information network(KITnet) will remain unavailable until power is restored, as all network devices are down due to the outage.

Please note that services provided by CIS, which are accessible to the public outside the university, will still be available during the power outage.

In addition, regarding the power outage in Building No. 2—which is a continuation of the university-wide power outage—network service will remain suspended in some areas until the morning of Thursday, September 24.

◆If the university-wide power outage is postponed to Sunday, September 20, the service suspension will also be postponed to the following day.
